NEW DELHI: PNB(number of shares traded: 3.80 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 3.30 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 2.53 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 2.05 crore), Vedanta (number of shares traded: 1.90 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.84 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 1.55 crore), Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 1.38 crore), Zensar Tech(number of shares traded: 1.19 crore) and Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 96.75 points down at 17801.9, while BSE Sensex was down 268.31 points at 59740.02 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.52 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.52 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 0.45 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.72 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.33 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.26 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
