NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 685.92 points down at 58950.09 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Fino Payments Bank Ltd.(down 16.74 per cent), Palash Securities(down 12.20 per cent), One97 Communications Ltd.(down 11.92 per cent), Oriental Veneer(down 9.98 per cent) and SBL Infratech Ltd.(down 9.90 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 11 stocks traded in the green, while 39 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 196.35 points down at 17568.45.
On the BSE, Fino Payments Bank Ltd., One97 Communications Ltd., SBL Infratech Ltd., GCM Comm and Aayush Food & Herbs hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Starline Precious, Dhunseri Invst, SBC Exports, Promax Power Ltd. and Vishal Bearings Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
