NEW DELHI: One97 Communications Ltd.(Rs. 3606.63 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2347.84 crore), RIL(Rs. 1844.47 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1767.45 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1665.86 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1648.37 crore), Latent View Analytics Ltd.(Rs. 1347.20 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 1331.59 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1256.04 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 1036.57 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 88.3 points down at 17415.05, while BSE Sensex fell 323.34 points to 58340.99.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.63 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 4.60 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
