NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 45.39 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.60 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 6.78 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 6.67 crore), Reliance Comm(numbers of share traded: 6.28 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.14 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.37 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 4.54 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.09 crore) and Zee Ent.(numbers of share traded: 4.03 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 88.3 points down at 17415.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 323.34 points at 58340.99.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
