Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Marshall Machines, Latent View Analytics Ltd., Kabra Extrusion, Elgi Equipments and MTAR Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 88.3 points down at 17415.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, Spandana Sphoorty, Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd. and Supreme Infra, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, ONGC, Coal India Ltd, BPCL and Kotak Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Infosys and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 323.34 points down at 58340.99.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Electric/Electronics, Sugar, Irrigation & Allied Services and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Rubber sectors during the day.
