Marico Share Price: Marico shares down 0.34% as Sensex rises

Shares of Ltd. fell 0.34 per cent to Rs 545.15 in Thursday’s session as of 12:29PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 349.12 points higher at 58690.11.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 606.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 362.05 on NSE. Around 88325 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:29PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 550.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 550.0 and Rs 542.55 during the session so far. The scrip quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 59.17, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 9.22 and price to book value (PB) of 16.38, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 36.49.




Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 59.52 per cent stake in the company as of November 25, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 25.92 per cent and 2.73 per cent, respectively.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 70475.5 crore, the company operates in the Personal Care industry. For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2444.0 crore, down 4.23 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 2552.0 crore and down 21.23 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 309.0 crore for the latest quarter, up 17.05 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
