NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 454.1 points up at 58795.09 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 10.00 per cent), Milestone Furniture(down 9.92 per cent), Megastar Foods(down 9.86 per cent), Mayukh Dealtrade(down 8.51 per cent) and Sikozy Realtors(down 7.69 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 121.2 points up at 17536.25.
On the BSE, Shanti Educational, Macro Exports, GCM Comm, Milgrey Finance and Vikas Proppant & Gr hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Vegetable Products, R Systems Intnl, Dhruv Consultancy, Latent View Analytics Ltd. and Palred Technologies touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
