Ipca Laboratories(down 1.59 per cent), Pfizer(down 0.47 per cent), Biocon(down 0.43 per cent) and Strides Pharma Science(down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.75 per cent at 13508.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 33.2 points at 17448.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 137.01 points at 58478.0.
