Godrej Properties(up 3.32 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 2.54 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.9 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises(down 0.84 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.32 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.11 per cent) and DLF(down 0.09 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.07 per cent at 521.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 16.75 points at 17398.3, while the BSE Sensex was down 44.06 points at 58296.93.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 16 were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red.
