Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Shriram City Union(14.7%), KPIT Tech(12.05%), Orient Electric(11.85%), Ortin Labs(11.81%), Ujaas Energy(11.75%), Dhanvarsha Finvest(11.45%), CG-VAK Software(11.16%), Mangal Credit(10.94%), Timken India(10.83%) and Aki India(10.81%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 195.71 points down at 57064.87, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 70.75 points down at 16983.2.

In the Nifty 50 index, 21 stocks ended in the green, while 29 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Go Fashion(India)Ltd., KPIT Tech, Orient Electric, Timken India and Lovable Lingerie hit their fresh 52-week high, while Manas Properties, Sigachi Industries Ltd., DCB Bank, Gulf Oil India and CreditAccess Grameen touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
