Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Tuesday as investors continued to move out of megacap growth stocks and into companies that are expected to benefit from the reopening of economies.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 168.03 points, or 0.49%, at the open to 33,944.76.
The S&P 500 opened lower by 33.62 points, or 0.79%, at 4,159.42, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 207.61 points, or 1.49%, to 13,687.66 at the opening bell.
