Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Tuesday, kicking off a week packed with major economic data that is expected to shed more light on the path of inflation.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 160.25 points, or 0.46%, in early trade to 34,689.70.
The S&P 500 rose 17.54 points, or 0.42%, to 4,221.65.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 77.46 points, or 0.56%, to 13,826.19.
