Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.56 per cent), SOBHA (up 2.1 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.43 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 1.36 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.87 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Hemisphere Properties India (down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.91 per cent at 404.7 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.55 points at 15854.5, while the BSE Sensex was down 15.81 points at 52959.99.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
