Torrent Pharmaceuticals (down 0.53 per cent), Lupin (down 0.52 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (down 0.33 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (down 0.31 per cent) and Biocon (down 0.3 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.17 per cent at 14627.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 40.5 points at 15864.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 102.0 points at 52954.27.
