Phoenix Mills (up 4.37 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.47 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 1.44 per cent), SOBHA (up 1.04 per cent) and Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty (down 2.36 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.88 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 0.22 per cent) and DLF (down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.5 per cent at 399.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 40.95 points at 15819.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 133.09 points at 52786.16.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.
