Shares of Tech Mahindra (up 1.81 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (up 0.86 per cent), Infosys (up 0.79 per cent), Tata Consultancy (up 0.39 per cent) and MPhasis (up 0.27 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Mindtree (down 1.06 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech (down 0.3 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.2 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.44 per cent up at 31441.0.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 20.05 points at 16258.25, while the BSE Sensex stood up 125.13 points at 54402.85.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red.

Shares of Rolex Rings Ltd., Century Extrus, Kshitij Polyline, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. and STEL Holdings hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Chaman Lal Setia, Future Market, Aarey Drugs Ph, Viceroy Hotels and Kovai Medical hit their fresh 52-week lows.
