NEW DELHI: JP Power (numbers of share traded: 14.13 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 12.11 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 7.59 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 5.13 crore), GTL Infra (numbers of share traded: 4.80 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 4.45 crore), Power Grid (numbers of share traded: 4.36 crore), Tata Motors (numbers of share traded: 3.37 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.27 crore) and IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.19 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 82.15 points up at 16364.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 318.05 points at 54843.98.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 3.74 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 0.67 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 0.64 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.60 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
