Infosys share price: Stocks in the news: Infosys, Adani Enterprises, Lupin, VIL and Suven Life

Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 108 points, or 0.68 per cent higher at 15,731, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Friday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

Infosys: The IT services major said it will make an additional investment of USD 0.45 million in TidalScale Inc, taking its total investment in the software-defined-server technology startup to USD 3.45 million

Adani Enterprises: The Adani Group firm said its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Road Transport will acquire a 49 per cent stake in Maharashtra Border Check Post Network Ltd, with an option to acquire additional stake subject to regulatory approval.

Lupin: The drug firm said it has received tentative nod from the US health regulator to market its generic Brivaracetam tablets used for the treatment of partial-onset seizures.

Hero MotoCorp: The two-wheeler market leader said it retailed over one lakh units on a single day on its 10th anniversary last week.

Vodafone : Amid an existential struggle, Vodafone Idea said while its recent tariff tweaks are steps in the right direction, such changes are not enough to solve the industry’s structural issues, and tariff hikes and floor pricing remain critical for the sector revival.

Coal India: The PSU’s Chairman and Managing Director Pramod Agarwal said that there is no reason that the state-run company should not increase the price of the dry fuel. With regard to coal price, he said

Ajmera Realty: The Mumbai-based developer is expecting around Rs 4,000 crore in topline from the upcoming seven projects which need an investment of around Rs 2,500 crore.

Shalimar Paints: The paint maker reported widening of its consolidated net loss to Rs 19.5 crore for June quarter 2021-22 on account of the impact of increasing raw material prices. The company had posted a loss of Rs 10.6 crore for April-June period a year ago,

Olectra Greentech: The industrial machiney maker said it received the Letter of Award from Gujarat State Road

(GSRTC) for 50 units of 9-metre electric buses, the hyderabad based firm said.

3i Infotech: The smallcap IT service provider said its Chief Financial Officer Mrinal Ghosh has tendered his resignation. Ghosh is currently being assisted by the company’s India Finance Controller Balaji Krishnaswamy.

HLE Glascoat: ICRA has upgraded rating to A (for long term facilities) and A2+ (for short term facilities) with a stable outlook.
