Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.24 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 1.73 per cent), SOBHA (up 0.82 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.15 per cent) and DLF (up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills (down 1.69 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.43 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.84 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 0.63 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.56 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.25 per cent at 392.0 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 2.8 points at 16565.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 18.22 points at 55600.8.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.
