DLF (up 0.8 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 0.29 per cent), SOBHA (up 0.26 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 0.23 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.08 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.84 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.66 per cent) and Godrej Properties (down 0.24 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.04 per cent at 373.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.55 points at 16674.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 135.78 points at 56079.99.
