NEW DELHI: RIL (Rs. 1913.38 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1536.82 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1261.37 crore), Adani Ports SEZ (Rs. 1084.63 crore), Bajaj Finserv (Rs. 965.62 crore), Infosys (Rs. 919.57 crore), Linde India (Rs. 875.99 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 866.91 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 853.74 crore) and Maruti Suzuki (Rs. 794.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 2.25 points up at 16636.9, while BSE Sensex rose 4.89 points to 55949.1.
In the Nifty index, Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 2.29 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 2.07 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.64 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.31 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 1.26 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 4.17 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.73 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.53 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.53 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.37 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
