NEW DELHI: Axis Bank (Rs. 824.81 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 788.65 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 698.47 crore), Au Small Fin Bank (Rs. 676.88 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 580.97 crore), RIL (Rs. 501.36 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs. 481.56 crore), Infosys (Rs. 477.02 crore), Kotak Bank (Rs. 467.10 crore) and HDFC Bank (Rs. 453.83 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 31.1 points up at 17163.3, while BSE Sensex was up 155.74 points at 57708.13 as of 10:45AM (IST) on September 01.
In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd. (up 3.90 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 2.88 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 2.27 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 1.81 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 1.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Steel Ltd. (down 2.29 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.59 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.41 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.34 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers.
