NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 214.18 points down at 57338.21 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, MRC Exim (down 20.00 per cent), Ridings Consulting (down 19.95 per cent), Misquita Engineering (down 10.00 per cent), Simmonds Marsh (down 9.96 per cent) and Interactive Fin. Ser (down 9.88 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 55.95 points down at 17076.25.
On the BSE, Ridings Consulting, RJ Shah Co, Premier Capital Services Ltd., Garodia Chem and Ace Men Engg Works hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Zen Tech, RPG Life Sci, ABB Power, Indian Energy Exchg and Oberoi Realty touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
