Petronet LNG Share Price: Petronet LNG declines 0.22% as Sensex climbs

Shares of Ltd. traded at Rs 227.0 on BSE at 01:00PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.22 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 207.4 and a high of Rs 275.25.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 19,616 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:00PM (IST).

The stock of Petronet LNG Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 34050.0 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 10.95, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 2.7. Return on equity (ROE) was at 24.89 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 369 stocks traded in the green, while 131 stocks were in the red.

The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.66.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 50.0 per cent in Petronet LNG Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 31.06 per cent and 4.89 per cent, respectively.
