Prestige Estates Projects (up 8.33 per cent), SOBHA (up 4.91 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (up 2.73 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.48 per cent) and DLF (up 1.74 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills (down 1.48 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.31 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.56 per cent at 419.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 66.0 points at 17300.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 216.56 points at 58069.1.
