NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 96.42 crore), Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 11.34 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 11.14 crore), Trident Ltd (numbers of share traded: 7.37 crore), Exide Inds. (numbers of share traded: 6.98 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 5.91 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 5.36 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 4.55 crore), BHEL (numbers of share traded: 4.14 crore) and IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.24 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 89.45 points up at 17323.6, while BSE Sensex ended up 277.41 points at 58129.95.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 3.24 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 1.48 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 1.23 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.21 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
