NEW DELHI: RIL (Rs. 3334.53 crore), Zomato Ltd. (Rs. 1661.38 crore), Exide Inds. (Rs. 1352.13 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1214.24 crore), HDFC Life (Rs. 1149.62 crore), Infosys (Rs. 906.64 crore), L&T Tech (Rs. 884.04 crore), Kotak Bank (Rs. 870.98 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 849.33 crore) and Maruti Suzuki (Rs. 822.68 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 89.45 points up at 17323.6, while BSE Sensex rose 277.41 points to 58129.95.
In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 4.10 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 3.75 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (up 3.35 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (up 2.68 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd. (up 2.65 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 3.24 per cent), Cipla Ltd. (down 1.48 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (down 1.23 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 1.21 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
