NEW DELHI: Hindalco (Rs. 297.36 crore), Jubilant Food (Rs. 241.05 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 233.34 crore), Coforge (Rs. 224.72 crore), Balrampur Chini (Rs. 160.45 crore), Vodafone Idea (Rs. 154.86 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 84.65 crore), Mahindra Lifespace (Rs. 72.72 crore), RIL (Rs. 67.31 crore) and Tata Steel (Rs. 60.62 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 15.7 points down at 17362.1, while BSE Sensex fell 17.43 points to 58279.48.
In the Nifty index, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (up 2.59 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.44 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.53 per cent), ITC Ltd. (up 1.17 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 0.94 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 1.83 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 1.80 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.78 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 1.78 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.62 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
