NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 8.86 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 6.28 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 5.92 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 2.26 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.76 crore), Coal India Ltd (number of shares traded: 1.33 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.05 crore), Future Consumer (number of shares traded: 1.03 crore), Jain Irrigation (number of shares traded: 0.99 crore) and Bharti Airtel (number of shares traded: 0.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 63.3 points down at 17305.95, while BSE Sensex was down 222.13 points at 58082.94 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd. (up 2.93 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 1.88 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 1.29 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (up 0.91 per cent) and Wipro Ltd. (up 0.72 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Reliance Industries Ltd. (down 2.07 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.81 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 1.27 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.24 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 0.88 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
