NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 76.26 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 28.37 crore), ITC (number of shares traded: 8.79 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 4.95 crore), IDFC First Bank (number of shares traded: 3.68 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 3.29 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 2.55 crore), Indus Towers (number of shares traded: 2.24 crore), Zee Ent. (number of shares traded: 2.05 crore) and Bharti Airtel (number of shares traded: 1.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 27.5 points up at 17546.95, while BSE Sensex was up 145.82 points at 58869.02 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 9.22 per cent), ITC Ltd. (up 6.71 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 2.02 per cent), State Bank of India (up 1.18 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up 1.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 10.34 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.46 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.90 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (down 0.81 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (down 0.76 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
