Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 76.07 points up at 60124.54 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Chandra Bhagat Pharm (down 14.09 per cent), NPR Finance (down 11.55 per cent), Transglobe Foods (down 10.59 per cent), Triveni Glass (down 10.38 per cent) and Yashraj Contain (down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 12.65 points up at 17865.85.

On the BSE, Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd., Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Superior Finlease, Shree Manufact and Jiya Eco Products Lt hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prevest Denpro Ltd., Nirlon Ltd, Mold-Tek Pack, GKP Printing & Pack and TGV SRAAC touched their fresh 52-week highs.
