NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 13.86 crore), Rashtriya Chemicals (number of shares traded: 2.18 crore), Tata Motors (number of shares traded: 1.59 crore), GMR Infra (number of shares traded: 1.31 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.29 crore), DLF (number of shares traded: 1.29 crore), Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 1.17 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.15 crore), Zee Ent. (number of shares traded: 1.15 crore) and ONGC (number of shares traded: 1.04 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:25AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 10.6 points up at 17863.8, while BSE Sensex was up 68.12 points at 60116.59 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd. (up 3.54 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (up 2.90 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 1.84 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.74 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.47 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.91 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 2.30 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 2.02 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.98 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.46 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
