Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Surana Telecom, Navneet Education, Stove Kraft Ltd., Hind Oil Expl and KDDL Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 42.0 points to 17813.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Opto Circuits, Shanti Overseas(Ind, Marine Electricals, Metalyst Forgings and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 26 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Power Grid, NTPC, Indian Oil Corp. and Titan Company were among top gainers, while Divis Labs, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, Infosys and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 195.88 points down at 59882.00 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Diversified, Term Lending Institutions, Auto, Mining and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in IT – Hardware, Textiles, Petrochemicals, Airlines and IT Software sectors.
