NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 50.79 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 5.30 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 4.34 crore), IDBI Bank(number of shares traded: 3.80 crore), Central Bank(number of shares traded: 3.45 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.44 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(number of shares traded: 3.29 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 3.27 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.12 crore) and Coal India Ltd(number of shares traded: 2.48 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 19.15 points down at 17692.15, while BSE Sensex was down 36.34 points at 59376.93 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.57 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.32 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
