NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd.(up 185.0%), Upasana Finance(up 18.37%) and Dynemic Product(up 16.79%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 330.85 points down at 58795.51, while the 50-share index, NSE was 100.25 points down at 17517.9.
In the Nifty50 index, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., Dynemic Product, GTPL Hathway, Novateor Research and Aadi Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Superior Finlease, Shree Manufact, Regency Investments, Trio Mercantile and Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd. touched their new 52-week low during the session.
