NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 37.17 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 19.94 crore), GMR Infra(numbers of share traded: 11.59 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 9.79 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 9.03 crore), IDBI Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.40 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 7.36 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 6.74 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 5.74 crore) and SAIL(numbers of share traded: 5.02 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 86.1 points down at 17532.05, while BSE Sensex ended down 360.78 points at 58765.58.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.42 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.06 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
