Global Infras(up 6.33%), RTNPOWER(up 4.55%), Indowind Energy(up 4.49%), NTL(up 4.17%), Alstom T&D India(up 2.84%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 2.80%), Indo Tech Transformers(up 2.45%) and NLC India(up 2.19%) were among the top gainers.
Adani Transmissions(down 2.60%), Torrent Power(down 0.77%), PTC India(down 0.56%), ADANIGREEN(down 0.52%), Tata Power Company(down 0.48%), Energy Development Company(down 0.45%), ABBPP&SLTD(down 0.44%), NTPC(down 0.35%) and Kalpataru Power Transmission(down 0.01%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 96.5 points up at 17886.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 321.95 points at 59999.78 at around 10:19AM.
Tata Motors(up 2.24%), Tata Steel(up 2.13%), Wipro(up 1.62%), Reliance Industries(up 1.41%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.36%), Eicher Motors(up 1.19%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.07%), Infosys(up 0.93%), Grasim Industries(up 0.9%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.88%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.41%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.73%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.56%), NTPC(down 0.39%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.3%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.27%), Britannia Industries(down 0.19%), Nestle India(down 0.13%), Asian Paints(down 0.09%) and Shree Cement(down 0.07%) were trading in the red.
