NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 3114.19 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2423.25 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 952.21 crore), TCS(Rs. 550.84 crore), MindTree(Rs. 507.48 crore), Indian Hotels(Rs. 489.44 crore), Piramal Ent.(Rs. 474.77 crore), Nazara Technologies Ltd.(Rs. 471.82 crore), RIL(Rs. 432.15 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 394.21 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 131.85 points up at 17922.2, while BSE Sensex was up 461.1 points at 60138.93 as of 11:21AM(IST)on October 08.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.84 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 2.19 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.12 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Coal India Ltd.(down 3.12 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) were among the top losers.
