The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 76.72 points up at 60135.78, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 50.75 points up at 17945.95.
In the Nifty50 index, 33 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as TAAL Enterprises, Kirloskar Elec, Prevest Denpro Ltd., Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. and GOCL Corporation hit their fresh 52-week high, while J L Morison, SBL Infratech Ltd., Jiya Eco Products Lt, Paos Industries and Cochin Malabar touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
