Oriental Trimex(down 2.59%), Coal India(down 0.94%), NMDC Ltd(down 0.62%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.29%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 13.8 points up at 17959.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 24.48 points at 60160.26 at around 10:09AM.
Bajaj Auto(up 3.18%), Tata Motors(up 2.56%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.33%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.18%), Eicher Motors(up 1.92%), ITC(up 1.83%), State Bank of India(up 1.48%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.13%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.04%) and Reliance Industries(up 0.59%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies(down 4.04%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.04%), Coal India(down 0.99%), Infosys(down 0.98%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.82%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.63%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.6%), ICICI Bank(down 0.59%), Asian Paints(down 0.49%) and Shree Cement(down 0.49%) were trading in the red.
