The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 148.53 points up at 60284.31, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 46.0 points up at 17991.95.
In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Brahmaputra Inf, Virat Ind, NHC Foods, Tyroon Tea Co and Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while SBL Infratech Ltd., Agrimony Comdts., Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd., ANS Industries and Supreme Holdings & touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
