HCL Technologies(down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.38 per cent at 35002.7 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 115.05 points at 18107.0, while the BSE Sensex was up 298.69 points at 60583.0.
