NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 2278.35 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 858.86 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 843.06 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 802.73 crore), MindTree(Rs. 772.45 crore), RIL(Rs. 718.13 crore), TCS(Rs. 683.27 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 648.11 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 584.03 crore) and Bank of Baroda(Rs. 556.31 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:06AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 135.05 points down at 18131.55, while BSE Sensex was down 484.15 points at 60775.81 as of 11:06AM(IST)on October 21.
In the Nifty index, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.72 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 3.17 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.51 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.20 per cent) were among the top losers.
