NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Friday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Dhanashree Electro(14.79%), Rail Vikas Nigam(14.35%), Mahalaxmi Rub(10.92%), Camex Ltd(10.09%) and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd.(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 311.5 points up at 61235.0, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 61.05 points to 18239.15.
In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks traded in the green, while 26 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as 3i Infotech, KDDL Ltd, IRB Infra Dev., Rail Vikas Nigam and Mahalaxmi Rub hit their fresh 52-week high, while SBL Infratech Ltd., UTL Industries, Texel Ind(PP), Trescon and Nutech Global touched their new 52-week low in trade.
