Global Infras(up 4.74%), PTC India(up 3.64%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 3.21%), ABBPP&SLTD(up 3.04%), Kalpataru Power Transmission(up 2.74%), Reliance Power(up 2.68%), Indo Tech Transformers(up 2.55%) and CESC(up 1.76%) were among the top gainers.
Jyoti Structures(down 3.88%), JSW Energy(down 2.76%), Orient Green Power Company(down 2.41%), DPSC(down 1.54%), ADANIGREEN(down 1.28%), Adani Transmissions(down 0.93%), NLC India(down 0.85%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.73%), Karma Energy(down 0.45%) and KEC International(down 0.39%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.2 points up at 18152.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 5.85 points at 60972.9 at around 11:17AM.
Tech Mahindra(up 4.29%), Tata Motors(up 3.88%), UPL Ltd(up 2.22%), Tata Steel(up 2.13%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.07%), SBI Life(up 1.92%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.78%), Grasim Industries(up 1.7%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.69%) and Eicher Motors(up 1.68%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 1.54%), ICICI Bank(down 1.51%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.38%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.0%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.85%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.7%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.42%), HDFC Bank(down 0.36%), Infosys(down 0.31%) and Tata Consultancy(down 0.2%) were trading in the red.
