NEW DELHI: PNB(number of shares traded: 16.23 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 7.32 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.45 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.18 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 2.60 crore), IRCTC(number of shares traded: 2.57 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 2.50 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 2.48 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.71 crore) and IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:06AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 202.9 points down at 18008.05, while BSE Sensex was down 643.77 points at 60499.56 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 5.37 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.63 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 8.31 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 3.99 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 3.23 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.11 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.87 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
