Pokarna(down 0.56%) and KIOCL(down 0.22%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 67.95 points up at 17956.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 209.57 points at 60238.63 at around 10:09AM.
Larsen & Toubro(up 3.25%), UPL Ltd(up 2.53%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.94%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 1.87%), SBI Life(up 1.71%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.69%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.62%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.53%), Grasim Industries(up 1.06%) and JSW Steel(up 1.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.94%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.46%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.49%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.37%), HDFC Bank(down 0.25%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.23%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.13%), Tata Motors(down 0.09%), HDFC(down 0.01%) and ICICI Bank(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
