Shares of L&T Technology(up 1.33 per cent), Tech Mahindra(up 0.53 per cent), HCL Technologies(up 0.49 per cent), Coforge(up 0.42 per cent) and Infosys(up 0.27 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, MPhasis(down 2.6 per cent), Mindtree(down 1.76 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech(down 0.25 per cent) and Wipro(down 0.2 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.0 per cent at 35177.1.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 59.75 points at 17829.2, while the BSE Sensex stood down 257.14 points at 59771.92.
