The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 29.3 points down at 18039.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 145.42 points at 60400.19 at around 11:00AM.
Tata Motors(up 2.93%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.75%), Grasim Industries(up 1.53%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.23%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.04%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.01%), State Bank of India(up 0.94%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.91%), UPL Ltd(up 0.81%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 0.77%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Britannia Industries(down 2.63%), HDFC Bank(down 1.4%), Nestle India(down 1.13%), HDFC(down 1.11%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.09%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.03%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.95%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 0.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.88%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.64%) were trading in the red.
