NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.23 crore), Sintex Plastics Tech(number of shares traded: 1.16 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.96 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 0.54 crore), Lloyds Steels(number of shares traded: 0.47 crore), Virtual Global(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore), JCT Ltd(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore), InterGlobe(number of shares traded: 0.43 crore), FCS Software(number of shares traded: 0.36 crore) and JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 99.3 points up at 17972.9, while BSE Sensex was up 296.71 points at 60216.4 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.19 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.39 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.59 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.30 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.09 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
